Sometimes a short walk cycle grows its own legs and walks way too far away from the initial idea. This short animation was the labor of a COVID lockdown lowtide at the office of Benny Box, and how we turned a bad situation into a memorable project instead. 'The Wanderer' as the title says is just that - Our favorite fantasy protagonist wandering the beautiful terrain of an ancient world, and finding joy in the journey itself.

My job in this team was to create a super simple storyboard, paint some kick-ass backgrounds, and working with the others to draw an awful lot of frame by frame animation, from roughs and tie-down to clean up and coloring.
